This course is aimed at pet owners, dog walkers, dog groomers, kennel assistants, dog trainers and anyone who requires a course in dog first aid. It is ideal for dog owners or dog professionals. Understanding basic first aid for your dog will give you the skills to assist them in an emergency and prevent them from getting worse before your vet is able to provide professional help.

This course involves an approximate 4.5 hour classroom based course (can be taken virtually or in person) and covers topics such as The Importance of Veterinary Care, Keeping your pet safe in emergencies, avoiding pet injuries, recognising and dealing with illnesses and injuries including bleeds, CPR, drowning, choke, pet travel and much much more!
