The Pet Academy was set up in 2019 to help provide education to pet professionals and pet owners in the UK to help them upskill and improve the knowledge and qualifications to give pets in their care a higher standard of care and welfare. We now offer a number of Pet First Aid course options from a short pet owner course to Level 2 and Level courses endorsed by TQUK and OFQUAL regulated body. We also offer other animal based online courses which are available to take in your own time. With an MSc and multiple BSc qualifications alongside being qualified Pet First Instructors, you can be safe in the knowledge that are receiving high standards of knowledge and skills.
Not only to our instructors have specialist academic qualifications, they also have a wide range of practical experience from setting up and running one of the largest pet care companies in the UK to teaching vets and animal health workers abroad.
Alongside the specialist qualifications, our instructors are also qualified lecturers. With experience of teaching hundreds of students pet first aid, tutoring undergraduate vet students and lecturing FE students. Their Teaching certifcates and practical teaching experience shine through.

Some of our Pet Business courses are regulated by the iPET network, and OFQUAL regulated body showing our commitment to high standards.
Our Pet First Aid Level 2 and Level 3 courses are endorsed by TQUK, an OFQUAL regulated body.
Our Level 2 and Level 3 Pet First Aid courses are accepted widely by local authorities to fulfil the licensing requirements.
