Move your pet to a cool area and contact a vet immediately.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Check Their Pulse<\/strong><br>Practice locating your pet&#8217;s femoral pulse (inside the hind leg). Knowing where and how to check it is crucial in emergencies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Keep a Pet First Aid Kit<\/strong><br>Include items like gauze, bandages, saline, tweezers, and a tick remover. And always have your vet\u2019s number handy!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Never Give Human Medication<\/strong><br>Even common over-the-counter meds can be toxic to pets.
